Frequently Asked Questions
Can I purchase a pattern from anywhere in the world?
Yes, as my patterns come as a PDF, you can buy patterns no matter where you are located.
How do I access my purchased items?
You will receive two emails when placing an order. One with the order confirmation and one with a button "download". Pressing on that button will redirect you to the product page, where you can access and download the file(s). Please save the file(s) to your device immediately.
What language are your patterns in?
All of my patterns (except stated otherwise) are written in English. As I am not a native speaker, there may be some spelling errors. But as I am a teacher too, I tried keeping them at a minimum :)
Do you use UK or US terms for your patterns?
All of my patterns are US terms ONLY. I also use the metric system (g,cm, m).
I am a beginner. Can I still use your patterns?
I recommend always looking at the description of the pattern. It usually states what level it is suitable for and how what it contains. The more images there are included, the more suitable the pattern is for visual learners (generally).
Are your patterns size inclusive?
I use an intuitive approach to writing patterns. Therefore, I use my own body for reference when I'm designing a piece. Which is why I can't guarantee that every single pattern is suitable for any size.
I think size inclusivity is SO important, as someone whose weight fluctuates a lot, I know how important it is to feel good in your clothes. It's something I'm constantly trying to improve! I try to get my patterns tested by amazing humans of all sizes and shapes, but most of my tester applications are between sizes s-xl. So unfortunately I can't guarantee that every pattern will work with sizes outside of that range :(
I advise you to go with your gut! You know your body best, compare the proportions of pieces you already have and love wearing with the shapes of my designs and I think this will help you to see which designs you'd feel comfortable in :)
