My Values
After consuming fast fashion for way longer than I would like to admit, I would love for people to discover more creative ways to express their love for fashion in ways that are less taxing on the planet than fast fashion.
I understand that crafting and more ethical pieces can seem more expensive and less accessible, but I would highly encourage you to consider investing what you can. Learning a new skill is time-consuming, and I am fully aware that not everyone has the luxury to invest that time. After all, I don’t agree with the saying "we all have the same 24 hours." I do not have the same 24 hours as, for example, a single mother.
I also want to make it very clear where I stand on certain topics. I hate violence, I hate guns, and I hate what people do with them. I hate how the Western world (and as hard as that is to admit - that is including myself) is so far removed from so many problems and thus tends to ignore or downplay them. I hate how it feels like it is not allowed to talk about certain topics because they are considered "complex," when in my eyes, they really are not.
I do, however, LOVE how people can come together to do great things. I love how we all say "aww" when we see something cute, how we all take pictures of sunsets and sunrises, how we cry when we see others cry, and how we have the ability to uplift each other. I am far from perfect. I am constantly reflecting on my habits and trying out new things, and sometimes I fail. That's just the way it is. It is not about perfection, but about reflection, trial and error, and doing what you can, however much that may be.
So let me make this very clear: If you purchase anything from me, some of your money (my income) will go to charitable organizations that help people suffering from the problems we, as a world, have created. Because I believe that what we have created, we can also solve.
