The ultimate cozy girl combo for winter! Both patterns are made to measure and can therefore be done with any yarn/ hook size combo! If you do change up the yarn, I recommend doing some swatches with different hook sizes to get your desired texture!
Just keep in mind: If you want to brush out your hood, using cotton will not get as fuzzy!
What I used I used:
Hood:
6 + 7mm hook, 5 buttons diameter 20mm, 850-900m of each Merino wool (50g=200m), Mohair (50g=500m) and a mohair acrylic blend (50g=200m), worked in at the same time.
You may also substitute the yarn combo with any fuzzy yarn around size 5 (yardage 50g=80-90m)
Sweater:
5mm hook, ca. 1250m of each Merino wool with yardage 50g=200m and Mohair with yardage 50g=500m (worked both strands at the same time), I recommend sizing down on the hook if you don't use fuzzy yarn!
